Mary A. Hills (Fisher)
Mary was born November 20, 1818 to Timothy Smith Hills and Patty Gates in Penfield, Monroe, New York. She married Christopher C. Fisher on July 29, 1839. They were nembers of the Lowell Branch on May 8, 1843. In 1847 they had a daughter named Eliza A. while living in New York. They may have gone to New York to join Samuel Brannan's shipload of Mormons headed to California but turned away for lack of funds. By 1850, the Fisher family was living in the Poor House in Greenfield, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.
